The “ARCA” gold medal
More than 200 innovations from Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania, Poland, Turkey and Iran were presented at the event organized by the Croatian Association of Innovators of Croatia, and 176 innovations competed for awards. The gold “ARCA” medal was awarded to KONČAR – Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering, for the PROZA NET innovation, the software system for automation, local and remote monitoring and control.

HO CIRED acknowledgment
The International Conference on Electricity Distribution CIRED (acronym of Congres International des Réseaux Electriques de Distribution) brings together stakeholders in the field of electricity distribution: the widest range of experts from distribution companies, institutes and faculties, equipment manufacturers and service providers, suppliers and consumers, regulators. The aim of CIRED is to increase professional competence and abilities, skills and knowledge in the widest range of electricity distribution activities, including distributed production.
HO CIRED (Croatian National Committee of CIRED) has recognized our contribution to the technological development of the electricity distribution system and has awarded us this significant acknowledgment.

SUMMER TRAINEESHIP We continuously enable students to engage in professional traineeship practice through different professional profiles to bring them closer to the world of work and help them choose their professional path in the future. PROMOTION OF CHILDREN’S RIGHTS On the occasion of World Children’s Day, in cooperation with UNICEF, every year we open our doors to children and young people in order for them to gain an insight into the business world and to provide them with an opportunity to say what they think about the issues that matter to them. CODE CLUB KONČAR KET – PROGRAMMING WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH With the guidance of our volunteer instructors, every year we maintain cycles of programming workshops for the children of employees and children enrolled in local primary schools, which aim at stimulating creative thinking and systematic reasoning, as well as practical importance of knowing mathematical and computer principles.
