KONČAR – Engineering signed two new contracts in Sweden

The expansion of the 220 kV Linnvasselv transformer substation and the reconstruction of the primary equipment, as well as the protection and control system at seven 220 kV transformer substations near Stockholm, are two new, extraordinarily important projects of KONČAR – Engineering, which will be realized in cooperation with the Swedish transmission system operator Svenska Kraftnät (SVK).

The scope of works includes turnkey services – project management, design, delivery and installation of primary equipment, control and protection systems, functional testing of the whole plant and commissioning. By signing these contracts, KET’s contracts on the Swedish market exceeded the amount of 20 million euro. Let us recall that these are not the first projects realized by KONČAR – Engineering in Sweden. Last year, a contract was signed for the complex rehabilitation of the 130 kV plant at the transformer substation 220/130/70/20 kV Finnslätten SS in Vesteros, near Stockholm, for the client Vattenfall, as well as the contract for the replacement of the protection and control systems at four 400 kV and 220 kV transformer substations for SVK.
