24. 4. 2017 KONČAR – Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering (KET) signed the Contract Agreement for Construction of Žepče S/S, 110/35/10(20) kV, with the Electric Transmission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka on 24th April, 2017

KONČAR – Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering (KET) signed the Contract Agreement for Construction of Žepče S/S, 110/35/10(20) kV, with the Electric Transmission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka on 24th April, 2017. The contracted value was EURO 1.37 million. Mišo Jurković, B.Sc.Eng., the President of the Managing Board of KONČAR – Power Plant and Electric Traction Engineering signed the Contract in the name and on the account of KONČAR - KET.

Before the stated Contract, a Contract Agreement for Reconstruction of Pazarić S/S 110/35/10(20) kV and for Reconstruction of the connecting transmission line 2x110 kV with the value of EURO 1.37 million was also signed with the Electric Transmission of Bosnia and Herzegovina in a consortium with local companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina in March.

Both projects were contracted on the “turn-key” principle including compilation of the design documentation, obtaining of all necessary consents and permissions, delivery of the primary and the secondary equipment, performance of corresponding electric erection, assembly and civil engineering works, testing and putting into operation.

Within the frames of stated Contract Agreements, KET would deliver the equipment manufactured in the KONČAR Group Factories (Distributive and Special Transformers, Electric High Voltage Apparatuses, Instrument Transformers, Low Voltage Switchgear) and it would also implement the Proza NET SCADA, the system already proved at several facilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With these Contract Agreements, KET, in cooperation with the Representative Office of KONČAR Electrical Industry Inc. in Mostar, strengthens its position in a part of electric energy transmission in Bosnia and Herzegovina and expects contracting of new projects.
